With so much change happening in our lives, I find myself often searching for ways to deal with my scattered mind. Our human minds tend to resist change as it is intimidating not to know what happens next. Autumn can be a masterful teacher on how to navigate change and transition.
Nature always demonstrates the Law of Change. Everything is in the process of becoming something else. Seasonal changes are something we even look forward to - could we possibly bring some of the lessons of the seasons in to our lives to help us navigate? The truth is, nothing every stays the same.
In order for there to be more peace and joy in the world, we must cultivate feelings and experiences of peace and joy in our own lives. This week we will revisit the Eight Pillars of Joy, as enumerated in The Book of Joy, by the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, as recorded by Douglas Abrams. These are very powerful teachings in how to add more joy to your
