In my past lives, I've often declared that I like change. Lately, I've come to realize that this just
isn't true. In fact, change and transitions are hard for many of us.
That's why awareness of the breath is one of our most valuable tools. The breath is always in this moment. The breath is never regretting the past or worrying about the future. The breath only exists right here, right now.
If we learn to rest on the breath, to return to the breath over and over again, no matter where we are or what we are doing, this skill can carry us through even the most difficult times. So this week, we will once again practice coming back to the breath.
