In coming together week after week, we are learning tools to help us deal with life. This is the essence of mindfulness.
Mindfulness practices evolve the brain so that we more often make more
conscious choices. In the practice of mindfulness, we are practicing creating space around the habitual chattering of the mind. We are creating a bigger container in order to be able to hold everything changing with more equanimity and less fear. We learn not to believe all of the stories the mind likes to spin, endlessly.
Mindfulness practices help us to
remember who we really are at our essence, at our core. Come practice with us!
