I'm writing this missive during the eclipse - what a powerful event! Hope you are remembering to breathe and feel during these intense energies. I thought this week we would do a Yoga Nidra experience during our time together, as this is the most grounding, soothing and nourishing practice I
am aware of.
I invite you to create your comfy Yoga Nidra nest ahead of time. This practice is best done lying down, so you might spend some time gathering up pillows, blankets and anything else you need to be as comfortable as you possibly can. I recommend that you have a few pillows or even a couch cushion under your knees, so that your lower back can
completely rest. Also, some covering for your eyes - a scarf, a facecloth, or an eye pillow.
You can build your nest on the floor, on a couch or even on your bed, whatever you prefer. Yoga Nidra is a very deep guided meditation done lying down. It is a rewiring and a reorganizing of your body/mind. Let's enjoy!
