Feeling more stressed and less jolly? Join us this week to learn some practices which really help to restore the "cheer" to the season! We'll do some practices to stimulate and tone the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve in the body, originating in the brain stem,
then traveling through the throat, through the heart and lungs and out to every organ in the abdomen.
The vagus nerve sends and receives information between the gut and the brain. It's the main communication switch between the sympathetic nervous system (fight/flight/freeze) and the rest and digest response (the parasympathetic nervous
system.)
Join us to learn and practice tools which you can use any time in order to soothe your nervous system during this season of joy and, also, stress.
