Hi, ,
Last week we discussed the importance of finding moments of joy; of looking for glimmers of joy throughout our days. So let's revisit “The Book of Joy” by Archbishop
Desmond Tutu and the Dalai Lama.
In this time of seeming chaos and division, it’s easy to succumb to the gray cloud which seems to be enveloping us. Yet, paradoxically, in order for there to be more peace and joy in the world, we must experience and cultivate feelings of peace and joy in our own lives.
If I spend my days being miserable because so many crazy things are happening all around me, because the world seems to be self-destructing, does that help anyone? Not so much.
I am realizing that I can do more for the world simply by addressing my own attitude and state
of mind. Let's work on that together - join us!
