This week we will explore Sound Therapy. We'll begin with some humming and breathwork,  then move into some yogic chanting. In yoga, there are 7 specific Mantras that vibrationally align our energy centers or chakras through sound energy. 

Sound therapy is a very effective way to heal and rejuvenate ourselves, since every cell in the body is mainly composed of water. Quantum physics tells us that sonar waves break up obstructions, so chanting and humming can be a very powerful way to “clear” the body/mind.

Join us to explore this unusual way of calming and soothing our minds. These are all valuable tools you can use. I'm sending you the details below for reference.

1. Root Chakra (base of spine) – LAM (Pronounced as lum in alum )

Earth is the element associated with this energy center. The qualities here are grounded, solid, rooted, dense, belonging

2. Sacral Chakra (few inches below the navel) – VAM (vum as in thumb)

Water is the element associated with this energy center. The qualities here are fluid, soft, flowing – this is the center of creativity.

3. Solar Plexus Chakra (just below the rib cage) – RAM (rum)

Fire is the element here. Qualities are fiery, warm, nourishing, life giving.

4. Heart Chakra – YAM (yum as in yummy)

This is the center of Love. Full, inclusive, all encompassing, open

5. Throat Chakra – HAM (hum as in humming)

Your Truth center – clear, unemcumbered

6. Third Eye Chakra (between eye brows) – OM 

The element here is air. Open, seeing, possibilities, clarity

7. Crown Chakra (top of head)– AHHH

Ether is the element. The message here is “all is one.” Connection to all that is, limitless, infinite possibilities, center of spirituality.
