My friend and client, Nora Lawson, took the gorgeous photo above of bees resting on her flowers. Nature is what will help bring us through this rough patch of our journey. Taking a pause from your busy day to notice and be in awe of the natural world is very healing and soothing for the nervous system.
Taking a walk in Pemberton Woods or on the beach is also incredibly restorative. We are so fortunate to have the ocean, rivers and nature preserves on our doorstep. If you can't make it to the ocean, try grounding yourself by walking on grass or even just looking out at a tree. An indulgent bath or a shower can also be a refuge and a soothing space.
