I recently heard self help guru Byron Katie say those words. Do you relate? I certainly did.
This week in our Meditation Groups, we will continue to explore how we can learn to detach from our thoughts, while at the same time, not push those thoughts away or attempt to change them. Meditation really is becoming aware of the endless chatter of the mind while choosing not to follow. Learning to rest in awareness.
Anytime we choose to either believe or fight with chronic negative thoughts or ideas, we create suffering for ourselves. Let’s practice allowing all of the fluctuations of our current world while not slipping into doom and gloom. Let’s practice resting in loving awareness.
