How many of the fears or projections of your mind have actually ever happened in your life? If you're like me, none! We spend so much of our lives choosing fear instead of faith. This is not our fault, as we are hardwired genetically to pay more attention to the negative than the positive.
The process of meditation helps us to become aware of the constant rumination of our minds. This is exactly why many people say they can't meditate - they don't want to be aware of all of that noise.
Yet it's through practicing awareness that we are able to learn to notice and shift these inherited patterns in our brains. Join us this week as we practice replacing fear and choosing faith - in the world, in ourselves, in each other, in a higher source.
