Hello,,
Self care is taking on new meaning these days. As we feel the impact of these tumultuous times on our hearts and in our nervous systems, we are all yearning for more peace and ease in our lives. I don’t know about you, but my mind seems to be in an endless and often nauseating unbalanced spin cycle.
I spend my days reminding myself to come back into this moment. This is a time to remember, again and again and again, the practices which we know help to support us.
This is the time to cultivate resilience through the practices of mindfulness and compassion. By reminding myself to constantly return to this moment, through my breath, through prayer and asking for help, I am actually changing the neural pathways in my brain.
